Barbara Brunelli Meets Students: Strategies and Opportunities in the Tourism Sector

The new series of meetings entitled “Dialogues and Exchanges between Managers and Students” is set to begin. The initiative is addressed to students enrolled in the undergraduate course in Tourism Enterprise Management (Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism Business Management) and in the International Service Management courses of the Master’s Degree in Marketing and International Management. The series offers students a valuable opportunity to engage directly with industry experts and gain practical insight into entrepreneurship and its contemporary challenges. Promoted by Professor Mariapina Trunfio, together with the Departments of Business Sciences (DISAQ) and Economics and Statistics (DISAE), the first meeting will feature Barbara Brunelli, Cluster General Manager of Caracciolo Hospitality Group. The discussion will focus on key managerial aspects and development processes within hotel groups. During the event, two case studies will be examined, respectively centered on Palazzo Caracciolo Naples and Hotel De Bonart Naples, Curio Collection by Hilton. The meeting is scheduled for tomorrow, November 20, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., in Room B1 at Palazzo Pacanowski.

Online Event – UNESCO Chair: Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the Mediterranean and MENA Region

On November 19, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., an online event will be held to present and discuss the activities of the UNESCO Chair “Innovation and Entrepreneurship Ecosystems in the Mediterranean and MENA Countries.” The event will provide an opportunity for dialogue on ongoing education and research initiatives, ranging from academic projects to international opportunities, with a particular focus on entrepreneurship and innovation. The meeting will include presentations of key initiatives such as the MOOC on Entrepreneurship 4.0 and the TEEG Business Game, the SLIOB Chair report, as well as dedicated brainstorming sessions aimed at outlining new perspectives for the future development of the Chair.

Seminar: The Excellence of Made in Italy and the Challenges of Internationalization

On Thursday, November 14, at 11:30 a.m., in Room T2, the seminar “The Excellence of Made in Italy Worldwide” will take place. The event is dedicated to celebrating and promoting Italian companies that embody the excellence of our country in international markets. Together with Maurizio Forte, Director General for Export Sectors at the Italian Trade Agency (ICE), the seminar will explore the value of Made in Italy—from artisanal excellence to high-tech products—examining growth opportunities and the challenges faced by Italian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the process of internationalization.
