As a Department, we are engaged in numerous national and international research projects designed to foster innovation and entrepreneurship in both academic and industrial contexts.
We actively participate in international calls for proposals, Italian national calls from MIUR–MUR and other ministries, as well as regional funding programs, which enable us to expand our collaborative network and increase the impact of our research.
Among these are PRIN 2022, PRIN 2022–PNRR, PON, and other competitive programs. For two consecutive five-year periods, DISAQ has also been recognized by the Ministry as a Dipartimento di Eccellenza (Department of Excellence).
In addition, we collaborate with over 40 companies, creating synergies that amplify the reach and value of our research and innovation activities.
Contract research and university spin-offs act as strategic bridges between academia and the public and private sectors. Through these initiatives, the Department actively contributes to technological, economic, and social progress in enterprises, institutions, and society as a whole. This area covers both commissioned research projects, strategic services, and consulting for external organizations that require the expertise of our highly specialized researchers and state-of-the-art facilities, as well as the activities of our academic spin-offs. These spin-offs serve as innovation accelerators, fostering technology transfer and bringing research results into the productive system.
Leaving Footprints is a consulting factory entirely dedicated to Heritage Marketing. Founded through collaboration between the University of Naples Parthenope and the University of Sannio, and currently led by Professor Maria Rosaria Napolitano, it has become a major player in the Italian spin-off landscape. Its added value lies in the application of a rigorous, validated scientific method, developed over years of academic research and applied by a team of specialized professionals and partners. This approach enables the creation of compelling narratives and effective communication strategies to enhance the cultural heritage of companies and institutions.
Regenerative Protein Biotech operates in the field of pharmaceutical biotechnology and medtech, under the guidance of Professor Antonio Minguzzi. The company focuses on research, development, production, and commercialization of innovative, high-value technologies for regenerative medicine. Its objectives include the development of advanced technologies and new therapies for diagnostic, therapeutic, preventive, or experimental applications in various medical fields. The company also provides consulting and technical support in procurement, tenders, budgeting, supply, prototyping, and production in the medical and pharmaceutical sectors.
Teseo (TEchnologies & Solutions for Efficiency in Oncology) Srl is a digital innovation company that develops advanced solutions for oncology and the healthcare sector, supporting public institutions, enterprises, and national and international value chains. The company operates in the fields of research and development, the design of business models and digital solutions, and the management of healthcare data, fostering innovation and efficiency in life sciences systems through a network of national and international collaborations.
