DISAQ explores research areas through the activities of 6 research groups that fall within the 4 disciplinary sectors present in the department.

The department’s scientific activity focuses on studying the impact that scientific and technological innovations have on the relationship between businesses and markets, from a micro- and macroeconomic perspective.

This line of research aims to understand which financial instruments enable the creation of high-tech companies or support the accelerated growth of companies that exploit innovation.

This research line focuses on identifying mathematical and statistical models, developing software tools, and applying these models and tools to measure the socioeconomic impact of technological innovations on the labor market, the financial market, and the sustainability of development.

RESEARC AREA 4

This line of research studies how territorial systems (inter-organizational networks between companies, public administrations, and the research community) best exploit the opportunities associated with the development and/or use of new technologies.

The current topics of technology 4.0 and its implications are also accompanied by specific and traditional research topics from various scientific-disciplinary sectors.
