The DISAQ – Department of Business and Quantitative Studies at the University of Naples Parthenope hosted the fourth edition of the Conference on Sustainable Banking & Finance – CSBF 2026, dedicated to sustainable finance, climate finance and ESG risks.
The event, organized by DISAQ at the University of Naples “Parthenope” in collaboration with the University of Naples Federico II and the University of Naples L’Orientale, explored topics including artificial intelligence, sustainability, decision-making processes, innovation, and complexity, fostering interdisciplinary dialogue across economics, statistics, physics, computer science, and the social sciences.
Among the highlights was a video message from Vernon L. Smith, recipient of the 2002 Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences, who emphasized the importance of experimentation and empirical methods in scientific research, alongside contributions from international keynote speakers and numerous in-depth sessions.
In a context where major economic and social challenges increasingly require interdisciplinary approaches, DySES once again proves to be an important forum for discussion, collaboration, and the development of new research perspectives.
Special thanks to the organizers, speakers, and all participants who contributed to the success of the event.
