CSBF 2026: International Debate on the Future of Sustainable Finance Held in Naples

The DISAQ – Department of Business and Quantitative Studies at the University of Naples Parthenope hosted the fourth edition of the Conference on Sustainable Banking & Finance – CSBF 2026, dedicated to sustainable finance, climate finance and ESG risks.

The conference brought together academics, representatives of institutions, central banks, regulatory authorities and financial sector professionals to discuss the major transformations affecting banks, markets and financial intermediaries.

Following opening remarks by Rector Antonio Garofalo, DISAQ Director Francesca Perla, Vice-Rector for Sustainability Claudio Porzio, and Professors Gabriele Sampagnaro and Francesca Battaglia, the programme featured keynote speeches, policy addresses, parallel sessions and an international round table.

Highlights included the keynote speech by Prof. Steven Ongena, policy addresses by Livio Stracca, Andreas Hoepner and Anne-Lise Bontemps-Chanel, and a discussion bringing together representatives of national and international institutions.

The CSBF 2026 confirmed the commitment of the University of Naples Parthenope and DISAQ to fostering dialogue between research, institutions and the financial sector on the challenges of the transition and sustainable development.
