VIMASS was founded with the aim of promoting and implementing scientific research and training activities that can bring value to the many stakeholders of the Italian and international healthcare system.
VIMASS aims to be a point of reference for organizations, institutions, public and private companies, and all stakeholders operating at various levels of the healthcare system. The laboratory is committed to the conception, design, and management of applied and basic research projects in healthcare management, contributing to the improved reorganization, innovation, evaluation, and quality of public and private healthcare provision.
VIMASS also offers conferences, seminars, workshops, training and refresher courses, and interdisciplinary professional development, always with a strong focus on issues related to innovation, entrepreneurship, value creation, and knowledge transfer in the field of healthcare management.
The laboratory promotes multidisciplinary research ranging from performance evaluations of healthcare companies to the development of innovative business models for the healthcare industry.
