The European Banking Authority published an updated ESG Risk Dashboard covering climate-related indicators for EU and EEA banks. The results show broadly stable exposures to transition and physical climate risks during the second half of 2025, while the quality and availability of the underlying data continued to improve.
The dashboard draws on Pillar 3 ESG disclosures and allows users to compare indicators relating to carbon-intensive sectors, the energy efficiency of mortgage portfolios and exposure to physical climate risks. The EBA nevertheless notes that important differences remain across jurisdictions and institutions.
