The Naples Fintech Lab was a unique experience that gave me the opportunity to get involved in every aspect. We took part in stimulating and at the same time real projects, this helped us to fully understand all the phases there are in an innovation project. It was equally important because it changed my view of innovation, looking at new entrepreneurial challenges with different eyes.
The Fintech Lab was a very formative experience for me as it allowed me to learn the entire process behind an idea, from the embryonic phase, through the phase where you start to give it a name and a defined form, up to the final phase, where, after a few months, you have the chance to see a prototype that could really go into production and become a new feature used by thousands of people.
It was an intense six months. Dynamic, pragmatic and full of insights, I would do it again.
I can say with complete sincerity that it has been a fantastic journey. To start from scratch, without even an idea, with a group of unknown people, and to see how over the course of months, through specific steps, and a well-structured program, it is possible to generate an innovative idea and turn it into something concrete, thanks also to the support of the coaches and professionals who collaborate in the workshop, has represented for me an experience of both personal and professional growth. In addition to learning unique skills, I have met great people who have become friends, and being able to contribute to the realization of a project that will actually be implemented represents a unique satisfaction.
The Naples FinTech Lab for me was an adventure, in which I promised myself to give it my all. And it was exactly like that, from the first to the last day I gave my all for the team and for the challenge I had been given. This workshop definitely allowed me to get a concrete and comprehensive view of the whole process of an idea. And it was rewarding for me and my team to see an idea of ours being born, growing, and realized. Finally, it was really important for me to work and compare myself with the partner bank so that I could fully experience this as a “stepping stone” into the world of work.

The open and continuous confrontation with professors and close collaboration with experts and listening to clients during the Open Innovation project are the real added value of this stimulating path, as they allow you to get involved, learn, and grow.

I met entrepreneurs who are realizing innovative business ideas by leveraging the most advanced technologies, and I worked on an ambitious project as part of an extremely motivated team. Most importantly, I learned how rewarding it can be to fully commit to achieving a goal.
