The University Advanced Training Course in Actuarial Science and Techniques (SeTA) is designed to educate highly qualified professionals in risk assessment, management, and modelling within the insurance, financial, pension, and welfare sectors. The programme is inter-university in nature and is promoted by the Department of Business and Quantitative Studies (administrative headquarters) of the University of Naples Parthenope, in collaboration with the Department of Economic and Legal Studies, the Department of Economics and Statistics of the University of Naples Federico II, and the Department of Economics and Statistics of the University of Salerno. The course responds to the growing demand for advanced actuarial skills by systematically integrating mathematical-statistical and economic-financial tools, and by offering an in-depth learning pathway specifically oriented towards preparation for the State Examination. In particular, the programme supports participants in developing the required theoretical and applied competencies through the analysis of practical cases and exercises, with a strong professional focus aimed at facilitating both success in the State Examination and entry into the actuarial profession. The course benefits from the combined contribution of university professors and professionals with proven experience in the actuarial field.
