On 22 March 2024, Villa Doria d’Angri hosted the second edition of the scientific conference “Technologies, Management and Processes for the Innovation of the Campania Oncology Network: Next Steps”, organized by the VIMASS Research Lab of the Department of Business and Quantitative Studies (DISAQ) at the University of Naples “Parthenope” and the “Fondazione G. Pascale” National Cancer Institute.
The initiative, held under the patronage of the University of Naples “Parthenope”, the Campania Region, and the Italian Association of Medical Oncology (AIOM), focused on the future development of the Campania Oncology Network, with particular emphasis on technological innovation, organizational processes, and the management of care pathways.
The workshop provided an opportunity to discuss the challenges of oncology management and potential actions to improve patient care. The event focused on the next steps for the Network and on the contribution of managerial expertise and technology to its future development.
With this second edition, VIMASS continued its collaboration with the Pascale Institute, fostering dialogue between research and healthcare on innovation and the quality of oncology care pathways.
