On 26 February, VIMASS – Laboratory of Research and Development in Healthcare Management – held its first institutional activity. VIMASS is the new research lab of DISAQ – Department of Business and Quantitative Studies at the University of Naples “Parthenope”.
The event opened with institutional remarks by Rector Prof. Carotenuto, Prof. Claudio Porzio, Director of DISAQ, and Prof. Andrea Soricelli, Director of DISMEB. This was followed by an introduction to the proceedings by Prof. Francesco Schiavone, Director of VIMASS.
The highlight of the event was the first VIMASS Webinar, featuring a research seminar by Prof. Giuseppe Sorrentino, Full Professor of Neurology at the University, entitled “Brain Network Analysis through EEG/MEG Imaging as a Powerful Tool in Marketing Research”. The event explored the potential applications of brain network analysis, using EEG/MEG imaging techniques, in the field of marketing research.
The event concluded with contributions from Professors Francesco Calza, Marco Ferretti, and Francesca Perla of DISAQ, together with Dr Sandro Pignata of the “G. Pascale” National Cancer Institute, contributed to a discussion on future research and collaboration opportunities for the new laboratory.
