On 11 June 2024, the final results of the research project “AGILI: Agile Management for the Patient Journey and Waiting Lists” were presented at the Aula Mediterraneo of AORN Cardarelli. The project was developed through a collaboration between AORN Cardarelli and the VIMASS Research Lab at the University of Naples “Parthenope”. The project’s Scientific Coordinator is Prof. Francesco Schiavone.
The event provided an opportunity to discuss the challenges associated with waiting list management and to identify new strategies for improving the efficiency and quality of healthcare services.
Following the institutional opening remarks by Director General Antonio d’Amore, Eng. Giuseppe Crimaldi introduced the key topics of the day, exploring the main challenges and opportunities related to waiting list management. The results of the AGILI project were subsequently presented by Prof. Francesco Schiavone and Dr Emanuele Caputi.
Particular attention was also given to the patient perspective through the presentation, by Dr Annaluce Mandiello and Dr Anna Bastone, of the results of a patient satisfaction survey.
The day concluded with a round table moderated by Marco Di Serafino, bringing together healthcare professionals to discuss organizational and management issues in healthcare, as well as potential development opportunities emerging from the project.
