\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe PhD in Entrepreneurship and Innovation was established in 2017 through the joint effort of the\nDepartment of Business and Quantitative Studies (University of Naples \u201cParthenope\u201d) and the Department of\nEconomics (University of Campania \u201cLuigi Vanvitelli\u201d).\nStarting from the 36th cycle, the administrative headquarters of the PhD program has been based at the University of Naples \u201cParthenope.\u201d\n

Research Areas


<\/span>
The PhD in Entrepreneurship and Innovation broadly focuses on all processes related to the creation and development of new ventures, as well as the management of innovation projects\nwithin existing firms.
It draws upon the specialized expertise developed by both partner departments on the program\u2019s core topics, and benefits from a close synergy with the Excellence Project of the Department of Business and Quantitative Studies, as well as with the initiatives promoted by the Department of Economics.
The PhD in Entrepreneurship and Innovation is structured as both an international and an industrial doctoral program.

International PhD<\/span>
Continuing the internationalization process initiated in previous cycles, starting from\nthe 36th cycle, the PhD in Entrepreneurship and Innovation has strengthened its international partnerships\nby signing an agreement with the Spanish university Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha.\n

Industrial PhD<\/span>
To further strengthen the connection between academia and industry in the fields of\ninnovation management and entrepreneurship, the program \u2014 beginning this year \u2014 includes\na number of positions reserved for employees of companies engaged in innovation projects or processes,\nfollowing the industrial PhD model.
