The Department of Business and Quantitative Studies (DISAQ \u2013 Dipartimento di Studi Aziendali e Quantitativi) was founded in 2013 with the mission of promoting research in management and quantitative sciences, while fostering the transfer of scientific knowledge through innovative teaching programs for students and outreach activities for the broader community.<\/p>\n

Our faculty and researchers come from diverse areas\u2014business management, financial intermediation, economic statistics, and mathematical methods in economics and actuarial sciences. Together, they combine the most innovative strands of management research with advanced statistical\u2013mathematical methodologies.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Our research focuses on studying the impact of scientific and technological innovations on the relationship between firms and markets. For the quality of its research, DISAQ was recognized in 2017 by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR) as a Department of Excellence.<\/p>\n

This prestigious recognition was renewed in 2022, placing DISAQ among the top departments in Italy in the field of Economic and Statistical Sciences for the quality of its research and development projects.
Awarded to only 180 departments nationwide every five years, this recognition provides significant funding\u2014supporting new projects for the 2023\u20132027 period.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thanks to the quality of its research and strong collaborations with business, financial, institutional, and banking partners, DISAQ has also been selected to work with the world\u2019s leading university, MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in a project involving only nine innovation hubs worldwide.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
