The event was dedicated to the community of the Department of Business and Quantitative Studies at the University of Naples “Parthenope”. The day opened with the event “Innovation and Entrepreneurship in a Sustainable World”, an opportunity to discuss the role of universities in fostering a model capable of creating value for the community and strengthening dialogue between education, research and the business sector. One of the highlights of the day was a session dedicated to the Campanian women featured in the mural created by Leticia Mandragora, an artwork celebrating female pioneers in the field of entrepreneurship. Drawing on the stories and legacy of these women, Mario Mattioli, Francesco Canessa, Giovanna Gentile Ferragamo and Donatella Trotta contributed to the discussion on entrepreneurship, leadership and the role of women in society and the economic world. In the afternoon, DISAQ Day turned its attention to the students of the first edition of the MEIM programme, who took centre stage during the diploma award ceremony. The event provided an opportunity to celebrate the completion of their academic journey and brought to a close a day dedicated to highlighting the Department’s community and its diverse dimensions, strengthening the connection between education, innovation, research and the professional world.
